Ginger Citrus Zinger

Ingredients:

1 grapefruit
1 Orange (navel works well)
1 Small lemon
1 Inch of ginger root

Juice and then add I/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

Citrus is loaded with vitamin c and is so good for immunity. Keep the pith when juicing, as that contains the bioflavonoids (antioxidants).

This juice is an amazing detoxifier. It will help to stimulate your digestive system and ginger can also sooth your stomach. Cayenne also stimulates digestion and helps with the circulation of your blood. Cayenne is great in cleanses because it aids in the absorption of other nutrients, which is why it’s such a popular diet/detox ingredient.
The zinger will also give you a nice energy boost which makes it a great juice to add to your morning regime. It’s refreshing, full of vitamins but with that extra kick to get you going. I love ginger, it’s such a great herb for so many things, and yummy!

Tip: You can yield more citrus juice with a citrus press, but I always use my champion juicer and I get a lot of juice.
