- 1 1/4 cups of almond milk
- 1 banana
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- dash of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of Agave
Add all of the above ingredients into a magic bullet or blender and pulse until smooth. Enjoy!!
I love to have this smoothie before yoga or a workout. It is full of potassium and protein and will help get your day started! It is best to use organic raw cacao and not chocolate, as cocoa in this natural state is a great source of antioxidants and magnesium. I also used raw almond butter which kicks in some fiber and vitamin E as well!
